The base of each leaf stalk--approximately the bottom 5 inches--is where the flavor hides in this citrusy herb. Remove the leafy top and woody bottom, strip the tough outer layers, and you'll discover the delicious white inner stalk. Chop or mince and add it to Asian-inspired curries, stir fries, and marinades. Use the discarded lemongrass bits to infuse tea, broth, or soup with citrus flavor. The flavor intensifies the longer you cook lemongrass. Use it fresh, or preserve it by drying or freezing. Lemongrass looks gorgeous growing in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens. Super soft, easy to put on, fit's great. Seriously surprising quality for as affordable as they are. I am not using the comforter and decided after one night that I probably would never use it because I got hotter than the Sahara desert in the middle of a midwestern summer BUT if you tend to get cold or cold and like a weighted blanket feel (because this is a hefty boy) then this would be right up your alley.
